Take a look at my most proud work, my senior capstone project.
Over the course of the 2025-2026 academic year, I completed a comprehensive capstone project as my senior thesis. Inspired by the courses I have taken at Endicott about media, culture, and representation; as well as my internship experience working for a public relations agency that works to uplift female entrepreneurs, I decided to culminate all of my interests. I dedicated my senior year to my capstone project about images of women in magazines throughout history.
This project was driven by the research I conducted through the literature review, which painted a picture of women and women’s magazines spanning from the 1800s to the early 2000s. However, there was a gap in the research which analyzed the modern woman and how she is represented through contemporary magazines.
I completed original research by reading, analyzing, and deciphering ten contemporary women’s magazines, both traditional print and digital natives publications.
