I picked up needlepointing this past summer, and have been loving it ever since. I have always loved creative things, however since coming to college I don’t have a hobby. I’m not a reader, so to pass time on the beach, sitting at work, or before bed without wanting to look at screens, needlepointing has become a great outlet. The hobby is generational, and I think that is what makes it so fun to be a part of. There is also a large community on TikTok that talks about these “grandma hobbies”, which is a fun discourse to be part of.
